Albania, on Southeastern Europe’s Balkan Peninsula, is a small country. Its capital city is Tirana. Albania is a developing country with an upper-middle income economy driven by the service sector, with manufacturing and tourism also playing significant roles.

Albania shares a border with Greece to the south/southeast, Macedonia to the east, and Serbia and Montenegro (including Kosovo) to the north and northeast.

You can visit Albania without a visa for up to 90 days in a 180-day period, for tourism or business on E-visa. If you want to stay longer than 90 days, you must apply in advance for a long-stay visa or apply for a residence permit from within Albania.
